On the morning of February 11th, local time in Ghana, the MF project constructed by China Railway No.5 Engineering Group Co., Ltd under CREC successfully passed the comprehensive acceptance conducted by a joint acceptance team consisting of the owner, supervisor, and relevant representatives, and was handed over to the owner.
The MF project is a municipal engineering project located in the bustling city center of Accra, the capital of Ghana. It starts from Airport Hill Road and ends at Boundary Road, crossing Spintex Road and Motorway Road. The main works include one mainline bridge of 802 meters, two ramp bridges of 220 meters, five auxiliary bridge roads of 2.5 kilometers, and other miscellaneous works.
This acceptance marks the completion of all construction tasks for the MF project, entering a one-year defect liability period. It is understood that this project, as a major infrastructure undertaking, has successfully connected two of Ghana’s most prosperous commercial districts, significantly alleviating urban traffic pressure, enhancing the city’s overall image, and injecting new vitality into the local economy.
