On February 21st, local time, China Railway Hi-Tech Industry, a subsidiary of CREC, successfully laid the first T-beam for the Saribas Bridge project in Malaysia.
The Saribas Bridge project is located in the Sarawak region of East Malaysia, with a total length of approximately 4693 meters, of which the bridge spans 2390 meters. The main bridge is 1110 meters long, with approach bridges on both sides measuring 760 meters and 520 meters. The bridge deck features a structure comprising prestressed concrete T-beams, continuous rigid structures, and prestressed concrete T-beams, with a road surface width of 12.4 meters. The first T-beam, which was laid, spans from the B bridge pier to pier 37, measuring 40 meters in length and weighing 83 tons.
