Anthem of CREC—“Trailbreaker”
The first China International Import Expo (CIIE), with the theme of “New Era, Shared Future”, commenced in Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center on November 5. President Xi Jinping attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech. The Expo gathered 3,600 enterprises from 172 countries, regions and international organizations, as well as 400,000 Chinese and foreign buyers.
President Xi pointed out that CIIE is the world’s first international Expo focusing on import; it is an innovation in the history of global trade. Holding CIIE is an important decision made by China to promote a new round of high-level opening up, a major step for China to widen market access to the rest of the world.
CREC Procurement Signing Ceremony
On November 6, China Railway Group Limited (CREC) along with its subsidiary company, China Railway Engineering Equipment Group (CREEG), signed procurement contracts with 6 professional suppliers from Germany, Italy, and Austria etc. under the joint witness of over 100 representatives from different lines of business. This practical business activity demonstrates that the Company is dedicated to integrate itself into the global supply chain.
Address by LI Changjin, Chairman of CREC
CREC Chairman LI Changjin addressed at the signing ceremony. He said that CREC is dedicated to promote international cooperation and the globalization of the supply chain of high-end equipment manufacturing. He wishes all parties could treat each other with sincerity, bring advantages into full play, enhance friendly exchanges, and promote joint development so as to provide better performances and values in building the shared future for mankind.
CREC Signs Contract with Foreign Representatives
CREC works actively to connect with the outside by integrating “bringing in” with “going out”. The Company not only cooperates with suppliers and counterparts in the aspects of R&D, craftsmanship and quality service, but also learns from other experienced companies on how to reduce cost, how to provide diversified service, and how to enhance overall operating efficiency.
